RULES
ELIGIBILITY
United Stars Music Competition welcomes musicians of all nationalities.
Applicants must be at least 3 years old and no older than 18 years of age. 
The competitions are open for Wind instrument, String instrument, Keyboard instrument and Percussion instrument.
SELECTION and AWARD
The Competition will consist of two elimination rounds: Preliminary and Final.  The Preliminary round is FREE of cost.

1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention awards are selected for each category.  The winners will be awarded diplomas.

 

For privacy purposes, the number of participants in a competition as well as the results of the competition will not be publicly posted.  The results of the competition will instead be announced to the participants individually.  
 

An additional award, "The United Stars Music Competition Grand Award" is given for exceptional performances throughout the year.  Performance Videos of the Grand Award Winners will be posted on our website and social media platforms.  

The decisions of the jury on the Preliminary and the Final round will be final.
 

REQUIREMENT for FINAL ROUND
Applicants who pass the Preliminary round will be notified via email and move on to the Final round.  A non-refundable US$89.00 application fee is required and must be paid at time of application submission for the final round. 
VIDEO RULES
All video files must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Solo pieces must be performed from memory, chamber groups may use sheet music
  • Video angle must clearly show applicant’s face and hands during the performance
  • Video must have been filmed within six months of submission
  • NO EDITING is permitted
  • Video must be posted on YouTube/Youku/bilibili and titled, ''United Stars Music Competition.''
  • In the Description field, Participant Name, Age, Country, The Title and composer’s name of the piece.  SAMPLE YouTube
  • The same video submission shall be used for adjudication of the both the preliminary and the final round.
RIGHTS AND RESERVATIONS
Participants are deemed to have agreed to this competition participation regulations and this disclaimer when the application procedure for this competition is completed. Video submitted for this competition, including participants' likeness and performances, may be used for promotional purposes. United Stars Music Competition is not responsible for any actions performed by users using the information on this website.
